Privacy Notice

Scope and operator

This Privacy Notice describes the prelaunch Veracio website, email waitlist, and optional website and product analytics operated by Carrington Mcdaniel in North Florida, United States. It does not attempt to describe every kind of customer-account or property data processed by the product.

Waitlist information

When you join, the server receives the email address and Cloudflare Turnstile token submitted by your browser. After verification, it stores a normalized email address, a UTC signup time, and the source label landing_page in Cloudflare D1. Duplicate normalized addresses return the same public success response without creating another signup record.

Cloudflare hosts the site and Worker, provides D1 storage, security controls, request logs and Turnstile bot verification, and may process network and device information under its own service terms. Rate-limit keys are derived server-side; the site does not expose whether an address was already present.

Owner access and email delivery

The operator can view waitlist records through a separately authenticated owner dashboard. If owner signup alerts are deliberately enabled, a durable delivery job sends the new address, UTC signup time, and source label to the fixed owner recipient through Resend. Alert delivery does not add the address to a broadcast audience.

A separate owner-approved launch-update workflow may later send waitlist communication through Resend. It checks a frozen recipient list and provider suppression state before an approved send. It is not enabled merely because you submit the public form.

Optional analytics

PostHog remains off until you explicitly choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not prevent waitlist signup or use of the product. One consent choice applies to the Veracio website and customer product when they are used in the same browser.

If allowed, the website may send a page view, waitlist call-to-action click, and successful waitlist response. A success can represent a new or existing address and therefore is not a verified count of unique new signups. The product may send templated page views and a small set of workflow events for sessions, saved searches, property analysis, and checkout. Verified customer activity can be associated with internal user and organization IDs; demo and legacy sessions remain anonymous.

Analytics events are restricted to approved route templates, workflow labels, page titles, and campaign labels. The implementation does not send your email, name, form fields, property addresses, free text, URL fragments, arbitrary query values, raw referrer, full URL, financial values, or provider payloads. Autocapture and web-vitals autocapture are disabled. Session replay, surveys, and feature flags are disabled, and the PostHog project is configured to discard client IP addresses.

Your choice is stored in a first-party consent cookie. If cookies are blocked or the value is invalid, analytics remains off. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and clears known first-party PostHog persistence in that browser; it does not retroactively delete information already held by PostHog. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice.

Use, sharing, and protection

Waitlist information is used to operate the list, prevent abuse, notify the owner when configured, and send approved launch communication. It is shared with service providers only for those functions. Credentials remain server-side, access is restricted, responses use security headers, and common database reads are bounded. No system can promise absolute security.

Retention, deletion, and choices

The operator has not adopted a fixed retention period, automated backup-deletion workflow, or a single request process covering both waitlist and future account data. The operator handles requests individually and preserves records only as long as needed for the uses described above or for security, operational, legal, or suppression requirements.
